A warren mother is giving a North Reading woman a priceless gift this mother's day -- she is carrying a child for a family for the second time!

"I still to this day will say, I can't believe she's mine, the way she came into this world," said North Reading mother, Andrea Hanson.

That's because Andrea's two year-old daughter Shea came into this world with another mother's help.

"It's incredible, it was probably the most important things I've ever done in my life," said surrogate mother Angel Carlson.

Angel carried the Hanson's baby because Andrea was unable to carry a child. She suffers from a lung disease known as pulmonary hypertension.

The idea of baring a child on her own doesn't make sense to Andrea since, "There is a high risk of death, so it's not worth taking the risk."

The two women met through a surrogacy web site, "Things just clicked, we knew right away," Angel said.

Andrea and Angel have been close ever since they met, "I knew i would be friends, with person who carried my child, but i never knew i would be as close," Hanson said.

So close that Shea and Angel's son Liam are also friends. And two year's later, Angel is pregnant again, with the Hanson's second child.

Andrea says she and her husband Chris are elated, "We are due in July and everything is perfect, we couldn't be happier."

Angel and her husband say they are glad to help the Hanson's have a family. "Once we met Andrea and Chris, he knew as much as I did, that this is what we were supposed to do."

"She is a true friend, she is an extended part of our family," Andrea said.
