You've heard the arguments over "gay marriage". Now there's a controversy over how gay men are becoming fathers.
When 2 year old Marley grows up she'll have quite the story to tell about how she came into this world.
Her father is Andy Abowitz.

"She's great. She's really great."
Her biological mother an egg donor, and Bonnie Davis from New Hampshire is Marley's surrogate.
Bonnie Davis - Surrogate
"It's kind of like having a long distance niece that I just happened to help bring into the world."
And in the next month or so, Bonnie will be helping Andy expand his family.

"Are you having two new brothers? Where are your brothers?"
As Marley understands it, her twin brothers are in Bonnie's belly.
Andy is part of a growing trend, where hundreds of gay men are hiring companies like "Circle Surrogacy" in Boston.
A controversial practice that's gaining popularity. More and more women are becoming egg donors or surrogates for same sex couples.

"I think it's okay for children to be raised in a family that is full of love and support, education and those are the things I hold true to."
Bonnie Davis - Surrogate
"As long as they are good parents, that's all that should matter. I mean you have a mom-dad factor and they're not always good parents.
But a Massachusetts group, fighting to define marriage as a union between a man and a woman, thinks the children of gay parents will suffer in the long run.
Kris Mineau - Mass Family Institute
"No matter how loving they are they can not fulfill the role of equal role of a mother and a father in the upbringing of the child."
Andy knows his children will face criticism over their family, but he believes love and understanding will take them far no matter what their parent's sexual orientation.
Andy plans to let his children have a relationship with both the egg donor and the surrogate.
