Title: Pre-Production Coordinator
Requirements: Responsible for coordinating all pre-production for newscasts and serve as a liaison between news and graphics. Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines a must. Two (2) years’ production and/or design experience required. College degree and/ or art background preferred.

Title: PT Production Assistant
Requirements: Assist Producer and/or Director in preparation of news shows under the direction of Executive and Program Producers. Perform administrative support duties, prepare and distribute news formats, and assist with research. Some newsroom experience required. College degree preferred. WHDH is an E.O.E. Employer.

Title: Photographer/Editor
Requirements: A minimum of five years experience in news photography and Avid editing is mandatory. A thorough knowledge of all ENG practices is required. The ability to operate Microwave trucks is preferred. A demonstrated ability to work under pressure and meet all deadlines is required. Non linear and linear machine to machine editing experience is required. A Broadcast Communications degree, and or technical training is a plus. A clean driver’s license is also required.

Title: PT Associate Director/Stage Manager
Requirements: Assist Director in all phases of production, including pre-production, timings, graphics preparation, remote coordination, responsibility for tape playback/record; also represent Director on set, which includes direction and cueing of talent and handling of scenery props. Other duties as assigned.

Requirements: Write for and assist in production of all sportscasts and half hour Sunday sports wrap-up show. Knowledge of television production, including videotape usage. Strong writing skills. Thorough knowledge of all sports, particularly local. Ability to use broad range of sources for news gathering. College degree preferred. 1-2 years television production experience.

Title: PT Maintenance Technician
Requirements: Operation, repair and maintenance of broadcast equipment to the component level. SBE certification and FCC license preferred. Experience in maintaining analogue and digital broadcast equipment, including non-linear and linear editing systems, cameras, beta cam sx systems, video file servers, network integration’s system, microwave and satellite systems. Thorough knowledge of Windows/Mac/Unix/Linux based operating systems, LAN/WAN platforms. TCP/IP. 2-5 years of maintenance experience in television broadcast preferred.
