Plane touches down safely after discovering problems with landing gear

BOSTON -- There were some scary moments at Boston’s Logan International Airport on Monday.

A Continental Airlines flight experiencing gear problems managed to touch down safely.

The plane, a Beechcraft 1900, started having problems after taking off from Allentown, Pennsylvania.

Emergency vehicles waited on the runway for the plane.

The 11 passengers and two crewmembers were not hurt.
