Marathon Man nears end of 50-state run

BALTIMORE -- Imagine running a marathon every day for more than seven weeks.
That's what a San Francisco man is doing. Ultra-marathon runner and author Dean Karnazes is running an entire 26-point-two mile marathon each day in a new state.
And he's nearing the end of his 50-state tour.
He and 30 amateurs ran Wednesday through the streets of Baltimore, making Maryland the 46th state to be crossed off his list. He ran in Delaware on Thursday, Philadelphia today and New Jersey on Saturday. He'll finish his quest on Sunday in the New York City Marathon.
Karnazes says he's doing it to inspire the country to be more healthy.
During his run yesterday, his group came upon a house on fire. A police escort called in the fire. Later, Karnazes was told that a family had been trapped and a baby was rescued.
