Chara heads home for first time since signing with B's
OTTAWA -- Bruins defenseman Zdeno Chara returns to Ottawa Tuesday night for the first time since signing with the Bruins in the offseason.
Chara spent the last four seasons with the Senators, recording 51 goals and 95 assists. He signed a five-year, $37.5 million deal with the Bruins in July.
Boston's captain has five goals and 14 assists this season, including a point in each of his two matchups with Ottawa -- both wins that came in Boston.
The Bruins have won six of the last seven meetings against the Senators, but have just two wins in their last 17 trips to Ottawa.
