
A two-time regional Emmy Award nominee for Spot News as well as Continuing Coverage categories, Christa Delcamp joined 7NEWS in August 2003 from WJZ-TV Baltimore. She spent four years there as a general assignment reporter and weekend morning news anchor.
While at WJZ-TV, Christa covered the four-day hostage standoff in Baltimore County, the September 11 Pentagon recovery operation, and the anthrax investigation in western Maryland. Prior to WJZ-TV, she worked at WBNG-TV in Binghamton, New York as a news anchor, general assignment reporter and producer.
Christa is no stranger to the New England area. She started her career producing and reporting at WGMC-TV in Worcester and as reporter and anchor at WESO-AM/WQVR-FM in Southbridge.
Christa grew up in Fulton, New York. She graduated cum laude from Atlantic Union College in South Lancaster, Mass. Today, Christa resides in the Boston area with her family.
